FAB - Freeze Alarm Basic

The new Basic Freeze Alarm will monitor the temperature of an unoccupied home, cabin, or business. If the temperature drops below 45°F(7 ° C) or if it rises above 85 ° F(29°C), the Freeze Alarm will automatically dial the programmed telephone number to alert you with a pre-recorded message. The Basic Freeze Alarm is ideal for protecting homes, businesses and cabins against winter freeze up, and damage caused by burst water lines.

Once the Freeze Alarm calls you:
Easily stop the alarm call-out once you have acknowledged the alarm by calling the telephone number of your monitored location and letting the phone ring for either 5 or 10 rings. When the Freeze Alarm answers, you’ll hear the alarm message played. When you hear this alarm message, the Freeze Alarm will then stop calling you because the unit now knows you have acknowledged the alarm. If the temperature in the monitored location rises above 45°F (7°C) again, the alarm will reset and be ready to call you should the temperature drop in the future. The number of rings the Freeze Alarm answers on is determined by a switch setting in the unit that is selected by the user during setup.

Basic Freeze Alarm Features :

• It will continue to call every 15 minutes or 2 hours (switch setting), and continues to call until you call it back to cancel the alarm.
• It will notify you with a pre-recorded voice alarm message to the person answering the call (or to an answering machine) that there is a temperature alarm at your monitored location. The message will be repeated for a full minute, allowing an answering machine to record it.
• The alarm call out can be canceled by calling back to the Basic Freeze Alarm from any phone in the world, and letting the phone ring either 5 or 10 times(switch setting).
• The Basic Freeze Alarm model automatically resets when the temperature rises above 45° F(7° C), or below 85°F (34°C)-choose one.
• This model operates on a 9 volt battery (lithium or alkaline recommended, but not included).
• Installation is as simple as plugging in a phone line.
• It works on an existing, standard, single telephone line. It will not interfere with your existing telephone service in any way.
• The Freeze Alarm will retain the programmed information even if the battery goes dead or is disconnected from the unit.
• Like all of our Freeze Alarms, there is no monthly monitoring fees and set-up takes only a few minutes. This is the most affordable solution to protecting your home or cabin.
