Prevent flooding from Water Heaters and other 3/4" applications:

The FloodstopNPT34 features a Motorized Brass Ball Valve and a standard 3/4" NPT Pipe Threaded union to accommodate almost any existing pipe. It also is equipped with battery backup to allow this valve to turn off the water supply even during a power outage! Each kit includes one 3/4 inch Brass Ball Valve with NPT threaded unions, the new battery backup controller, a water/leak sensor and an AC power adapter.

Water Heaters have a limited life, then leak after years of corrosion. Water Heaters are generally considered a maintenance-free appliance, but they are also one of the single most damaging appliances in the home. Because Water Heaters are continually under pressure, even small pressurized leaks can quickly flood and devastate a home. Whether at home, at work, or on vacation these flooding events can go undetected for hours or even days. FloodStop Water Shut-Off II automatically shuts off the water supply to the Water Heater and sounds an alarm, leaving all other household fixtures and appliances operational.
