Optex AX100 Plus and AX200 Plus Photo Beam Detectors
The Optex AX100 and AX200 Plus Photo Beam detectors are the next step in outdoor detection and protection. Advanced features allow for easy installation and superior protection from the elements.
Easy Installation
Alarm Indication LED is easy to see through the viewfinder and allows quick checking of whether or not the beam is reaching the receiver. The included rotating dial allows for fine angle adjustments both horizontally and vertically to perfectly beam alignment.
Reliable and Protected
The Photo Beam units come with a Rubber O-Ring and Rubber Grommets which prevent rain, dust and even tiny insects from affecting your Optex Photo Beam's performance. The built in anti-frost and convex visor design will help protect your photo beam detectors from frost and dew and keep the moisture out of the units.
Limit False Alarms!
With twin synchronized pulsed beams the Optex photo beams require simultaneous interruption of both beams to trigger an alarm event. This means no alarms will be activated when a bird, falling leaf etc. break just one beam, or even breaks both beams just not at the same time! The built in Automatic Gain Control (AGC) Circuit is continuously monitoring for gradual changes in the beams signal strength due to changing weather conditions. It will automatically adjust the systems sensitivty to maintain the appopriate signal level! The Optex Photo Beam system also has an adjustable beam interruption period allowing you to choose between 50 and 500 msec. If the system is being installed in an area where an intruder may be moving quickly (running) a shorter time is recommended, however if the system is monitoring an area where intruders may be moving more slowly, or having to climb etc. you can set a longer interruption period which will help limit false alarms again as most small animals etc. will move through the beams much more quickly than a person would be able to!
