The Tattletale Border Guard is designed to protect fence or the exterior of a building. Using a PIR (passive infrared motion detector), the Border Guard detects heat. The detector has dual beams on either side of the unit that project 40'. To eliminate the potential of false alarms caused by animals in outdoor environments, both of these beams must be blocked to trigger an alarm.
